About
We got tired of tees that died in three washes.
Most printed t-shirts in India are 180 GSM. They feel fine in the shop and then go translucent, lose their neck, and shrink an inch every wash. We wanted the opposite: a tee that gets better as it ages, with a print that doesn't crack.
So Soul Indeed runs on 240 GSM combed cotton, bio-washed and pre-shrunk before it's ever cut. It costs more per piece. It also means the second-year version of the shirt still looks like the first-week version.
Everything is printed in small batches in Mumbai, Maharashtra. We'd rather sell out of forty good shirts than warehouse four hundred mediocre ones — which is why designs disappear and mostly don't come back.
How we make them
01
The blank
240 GSM combed cotton, knitted and dyed in Tirupur. Bio-washed so it feels broken-in on day one.
02
The print
Water-based screen printing — the ink sits in the fabric rather than as a plastic sheet on top. Softer hand, no cracking.
03
The run
Forty to eighty pieces per design. Anything that fails our own check never ships.
Getting the size right
| Size | Chest (flat) | Length |
|---|---|---|
| S | 19" | 27" |
| M | 21" | 28" |
| L | 23" | 29" |
| XL | 25" | 30" |
| XXL | 27" | 31" |
Measured on the garment laid flat. Chest is armpit to armpit — double it for the full circumference. Oversized styles run roughly one size large by design.
Some products carry their own size table on the product page — that one always wins. If you're between sizes, message us your usual brand and size on WhatsApp and we'll tell you which one to take.
